* 82-204 carburetor repair kits rebuild one OEM 1978 or 1979 GL1000 Keihin carburetor model IDs 769A and 771A. Click to find your carburetor ID. These kits have a #140 primary and #130 slow air jet for the emission control models produced after December 31, 1977. EC models had press-fitted, factory-adjusted pilot screws to eliminate adjusting the idle mixture. Manually adjusting the idle mixture is necessary if those pilot screws were removed. Owners of non-emission control 1978 have the option of reusing their #120 primary and #120 slow air jets but it is not necessary.
RECOMMENDATION: Kit contains no exterior parts or interior passage plugs that appear on the GL1000 and specifically do not contain manifold connector "O" rings.
