Good Fit

My speedometer quit working. This fixed my problem on my 1986 Goldwing Aspencade 1200 with digital speedometer.

Good replacement

This unit replaces the original if or when it breaks and works just like the original. It does not fix the readings on the speedometer to make it accurate. I don't think anything will. My only complaint is that there is no option to include all the electronics that attach up to the speedometer. But if everything else works, most likely, this is the culprit if your speedometer does not read anymore. Saber delivered in good time and the price is reasonable compared to others I found.

Q: What is the Difference between ( speedometer gear unit) 84 Goldwing Interstate 44800-MG9-013 44800-ML8-701 Thank you, Mark

A: According to Honda fiche, the MG9 -013 fits all model years 84-87 but ML8-701 only fits 84-85. This appears 701 was superseded to -013 but the fiche doesn't make that distinction. It is not unusual for Honda to assign two different OEM numbers to the same part.

A: You option is to find a NOS (new old stock) or a good used assembly. Honda obsoleted this part.
