Barracuda Warranty for 76-156 GL1200 Ignition Switch
This GL1200 ignition switch has a one-year warranty from time of delivery.
ALL GL1200 IGNITION SWITCHES TESTED. The continuity of the wiring harness is tested according to procedures in the GL1200 Honda Work Shop Manual to verify all key positions (ON, ACC, OFF PARK, LOCK) function properly. The lockset cylinder was tested with 30 rigorous key actions from ON to LOCK and LOCK to ON to ensure proper operation. The cap was inspected to make sure it is securely attached. Only a tool can remove it.
WARRANTY VOIDED If switch has been tampered with in any way, such as removal of the lockset cylinder, claims for the cap “falling off” which cannot be removed without a tool or lockset cylinder “fell apart” because it is impossible for the lockset fall apart while still inside the lock cylinder body.
