DS1-3 electronic ignition system eliminates your entire points plates assembly and installs in the original position. It was designed for use with stock coils but can be used with other coils that have at least THREE OHMS primary resistance in which case the ballast resistor will be bypassed. Good quality suppression core/resistor spark plug wires wires should be used. Avoid those made of copper unless using stock resistor plug caps.
