Accent, Fuel Tank Side, GL1500
This is a very nice stainless steel item. It is well made and easy to install. The adhesive is very strong and I doubt it will ever fall off. Just make sure you get it right when applying it. It worked best for me to lightly hold it in place with the backing protective tape still in place and lightly mark exactly where you wish to place it. I found that slowly removing the tape at the tip of the short end and progressively pulling the tape out from the end while pressing it into place so that the corner is adhered around the bend. Once there you can work your way along the long piece until it is fully adhered all the way to the end. Take your time and get it right because it isn't likely you will be able to pull it off to reposition it. The adhesive is incredibly strong. In the end it looks beautiful.
