DISCLAIMER:  Mechanical shocks do not perform and are not intended to perform like air shocks. Mechanical shocks use a gas and oil hydraulic piston that requires enormous force to compress and quickly returns to position on impact. On the other hand, air shocks use a hydraulic piston and an air chamber that serves to slow or soften the shocks damping or return to position.

Our mechanic shocks come with 5 adjustable positions and are set at the factory at the shortest coil position. This position gives the quickest return to position which may feel harsh compared to air shocks. To lengthen the response time, adjust the coil to the highest position, allowing the coil to stretch out to the longest position.

Maintenance schedule: Honda recommends checking your suspension every 8000 miles or 12800 km.
