New side-mounted Markland-style driver backrest for GL1800 in black only has cosmetic chrome blemishes and sometimes requires minor adjustments to fit. The chrome is basically nice, bright and ample but there are occasional pit marks and light scratches due to the surface not being perfectly polished prior to the chroming process. These backrests also have the nicest chrome steel adjustment nut on each handle that we have ever seen. The vinyl pads are constructed with good weight of vinyl but could have a wee bit more padding.
