NOTICE: Many experts maintain this item can be used as a replacement for the separate GL1000 rectifier and regulator units that were obsoleted by Honda. However, buyers must research their own GL1000 wiring requirements by using the GL1100 wiring schematics found in Haynes, Clymer and Honda work shop manuals.
