Saber Cycle's Rogues Gallery-1979 GL1000 with trailer (Tom)

Here's my 79. Purchased three years ago with only 24000 miles. She's been through every state in the five state area (Texas) and zig-zagged all over Colorado twice.

New alternator, carb rebuild, passenger floorboards (grafted from a Hawley) and bags stolen from a Beemer. Shocks, brakes, forks, hitch [] and everything you can imagine. All using Saber Cycle parts.

Just short of 60000 miles and many, many more to go! The home made trailer now has just under 6000 miles. The day before the pic was taken we rolled back home from a 3000 mile Colorado excursion! I could change the oil and take off for Alaska with complete confidence!
