Full engine gasket set for the GL1000 by Barracuda Bike Parts includes the timing belt cover gaskets not usually included in other sets.

Top engine gasket set for GL1200, 1984 to 1987 by Barracuda Bike Parts. Contents are as pictured.

Set of four (4) crushed-type ring non-asbestos exhaust pipe gaskets for all GL1000, GL1100 and GL1200 (1975 to 1987) models.

Head gasket replaces OEM 12251-371-306 for GL1000 and priced per each. GL1000 cylinder bore is 72 mm or 2.834 inches.

NOTE:  Prior to installation, the Honda GL1000 Work Shop Manual, page 5-14, suggests that old gaskets will come off  easier by soaking with a solvent and never suggests use of an abrasive, such as sandpaper.  Cylinder heads should always be checked for warpage in an X pattern with a machinist's straight edge and feeler gauge.

The Honda Manual instructs using liquid sealer to install head gaskets on page 5-19 but this is no longer necessary. The new head gaskets are graphite-coated and should be dry fitted to create a properly bonded seal. Use of a sealant may compromise its bonding properties.

Head gasket replaces OEM 12251-MG9-306 for GL1100 and GL1200 and priced per each. GL1100 cylinder bore is 75 mm (2.953 in.) and GL1200 bore is 75.5 mm (2.97 in.)
