FAQ26 - Why do Canadians need to verify their Goldwing models?
The founder of Saber Cycle is a former Canadian dealer from WInnipeg who can personally attest that many Canadian dealers, from 1964 and 1985, were misregistering bikes. It was general practice because there was no title system in Canada to keep the records correct . We suspect many of these model registration errors have been discovered over the years but we still come across an occasional customer who orders parts that don't fit due to unintentional model disidentification. Bike models can easily be identified according to the serial numbers on the frame and engine. |
