FAQ24 - What driver floorboards can I install on my GL1000 engine guards?
First, Honda never made engine guards for the GL1000 so there is no such thing as stock engine guards. Consequently, a lot of aftermarket engine guards saturated the market during those early years.
We sell the MC Enterprise and Markland-style driver floorboards that are made to fit only MC Enterprise and Markland engine guards because Markland copied MC Enterprise's engine guards. Therefore, these two maker's floorboard and engine guard accessories are compatible.
MC Enterprise no longer makes their #986 engine guards.
