FAQ21 - Can I get a oil dip stick for my GL1000?

The GL1000 never came with a dip stick - just a sight glass that most everyone has found to be yellowed and gucked up. An aftermarket dip stick came out on the market soon after the GL1000 launched but didn't work out because it kept getting knocked off and dinged up. They finally quit making the dip stick and, unfortunately, Honda quit making the sight glass.
