Just what I needed for adjusting carbs on my 82 goldwing. When I went to the local Honda dealer they look at you like you have 2 heads when you ask if they can adjust the carbs. I thought it can't be that hard and it is not. Thanks
ease of use, lacking instructions (5/5) Oct 6, 2011 Travis Grifffth sattler tx US
This is the only set of gauges that I have ever used, but I use them on three different bikes. they work great and have saved me hundreds in having the carbs synced every time I have to get into the bike. The only fault.....the instructions. If you have used some before it is probably no big deal. but it is unclear that you MUST use the adjustable valves to even out the needles. The 1st two times I used them, I just got the "bounce" of the needles to match.....now I know what I am doing and it is a piece of cake to do what the mechanic charges over 150 bucks to do.
vacuum gauges (1/5) Apr 2, 2011 GARY CARTER ALBIA IO US
one gauge had bad paint job on it but what i really did'nt like was the hoses are not the right sizes for the gauges.there way to small diameter for gauges.I had to go get 1/4 " for the gauges.I'll think twice when i order from you again.Sorry!

ADMIN COMMENT: Funny I was able to insert the hoses before taking the photo where the gauge sync tool is mounted on the handlebars of my 1976. This is the same photo used for the black and white photo in the enclosed instructions. To obtain a good strong vacuum, we would not advise changing the hoses of this kit. Diane

Gauges work well but calibrate them before use. They were all within 2 to 2.5" of each other but with minor adjustments can be made to read the same. I give them four stars because of the vacuum hose they come with. The ID is too small making it far too difficult to get it to fit to the adapters. I tried using a heat gun to ease installation and all that did was cause them to split. Made a trip to my local Auto parts store and bought a good quality hose that worked well. Shouldn't have to do that; kit should come with hose that will work.

ADMIN NOTE: This review is for the Emgo set NOT the Barracuda Bike Parts set that became available January 28, 2010.
